How to Effectively Write an Article

There is a format that you should follow before diving into this remarkable marketing method. Let me give you an outline of how to tackle this technique.

1. You need to establish a targeted audience. This is important because you want to be sure that you target the prospects that you are attempting to attract to your website, product, service, or opportunity. In other words be sure to stay within you niche, so that your articles can effectively accomplish your expectations.

2. Once you’ve determined your targeted audience, it is time to find keywords for that audience. You can use Google AdWords: Keyword Tool. It is free and pretty effective.

Let’s assume for this example that you own a bike shop and you wanted to write an article on bikes. Well simply type the word “bike” in the keyword tool and click the search button. Immediately a list will be generated with all sorts of keywords associated with the word “bike”. These are the actual keywords that your targeted audience is typing in the search engines to find what they are looking for. Along with this list you can also view how many times these keywords are entered on a monthly basis. This will give you an idea of the amount of traffic available on a particular keyword. Now be careful not to choose one/two phrase keywords.

3. You want to create a title for your article from the keyword phrase you have chosen. For this example I actually found the keyword phrase “Best Mountain Bike” which currently receives 110,000 searches per month. So you can create a title such as; “Five Important Facts To Consider Before Purchasing A Best Mountain Bike”. Be sure to include your keyword phrase in your title.

4. You are now ready to write your article. A good rule to follow is to also place your keyword phrase within the first paragraph of your article and to sort of sprinkle them throughout the body of your article as well. Your Title should have already grabbed your prospect’s attention and cause them to want to read your article. Make sure that within your first couple of sentences you are building interest to keep them focused. Next deliver what they were seeking for, in this case “The Five Important Facts To Consider Before Purchasing A Best Mountain Bike” And finally present them with a call to action. This can be accomplished on your signature line where you provide a link to your website.
