Faster LG LCD Monitors - L1732P, L1932P

LG anounced two high-end LCD monitors with a faster response time. The L1732P and L1932P monitors have a 4-microsecond response time, and produces optimal image quality for fast-action sports, games and movies.
The monitor boasts 300cd/sq.m brightness, an increased contrast ratio of 700:1 and an ultra-wide viewing angle of 170 degrees. Other features include rotation of up to 90 degrees and auto pivot. Read more...

LCD monitor sales surge during Xmas shopping
LCD monitor sales posted substantial gains during the traditional shopping week known as Black Friday. Led by falling prices, unit sales of LCD monitors increased by 36 % year-over-year.
The study showed that promotional prices for 17- and 19-inch LCD monitors were less than $150 and $170, respectively. The low prices led the 19-inch LCD monitors to capture 41 percent of all retail monitor sales, up from 10 percent during the same week last year. Read more...
